We're primarily an ecommerce business, supported by our Prahran showroom where customers can see and feel the collection in person.The RoleWe're looking for a Sales & Customer Service Consultant to join our team.
You'll manage sales enquiries and customer support across the showroom, email and online chat, helping customers choose the right rug, providing product advice, organising swatches and assisting with orders.You'll also handle day-to-day customer service matters, respond to post-purchase enquiries and work with trade clients including interior designers and architects.
It's a varied role that combines sales, product knowledge and customer care across both our online and showroom channels.This is a casual role – 3 Days per week, including Saturday.
Tuesday to Saturday.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to sales enquiries across the showroom, email and online chat.Follow up enquiries, quotes and swatch requests in a friendly and helpful way.Help customers choose the right rug by providing clear advice on size, colour, texture and product suitability.Assist customers with orders, delivery enquiries, exchanges and other after-sales matters.Build strong, professional relationships with customers, interior designers, architects and other trade clients.Keep the showroom organised,



well presented and ready for customers.Develop robust knowledge across our rug collections and use that knowledge confidently when assisting customers.Provide a warm, knowledgeable and considered customer experience across every interaction.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Confidence dealing with customers both in person and online.Strong judgement and the ability to handle customer service matters calmly and professionally.A natural sales ability without being overly sales-driven.Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once.An interest in interiors, design and rugs.What We OfferAbove-award remuneration, reflecting the experience we're looking for.A beautiful Prahran showroom and relaxed working environment.A friendly and supportive small team.The opportunity to work with a design-focused Australian rug brand.How to ApplyMust be available to start at short notice.
