Reporting into the Finance leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy while contributing to several business-critical payroll remediation and finance projects.The RoleEnd-to-end payroll processing across a multi-state workforceAward and legislative interpretation across complex employee groupsPayroll compliance reviews and pay correction activitiesInvestigation and resolution of payroll discrepanciesPayroll reporting,



reconciliations and audit supportProcess improvement and systems enhancement initiativesSupporting payroll-related finance projects and business transformation activitiesStakeholder engagement across Finance, HR and operational teamsAbout You5+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll processingStrong experience working within multi-state, award-based environmentsExcellent knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation and compliance requirementsExperience managing payroll audits, remediation projects or compliance reviewsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA proactive approach and ability to work autonomouslyExperience within transport, logistics, warehousing, distribution or similarly complex operational environments will be highly regardedWhat's on Offer12-month fixed-term contract with potential for extensionCompetitive salary package of $120,000 - $140,000 + superHybrid working arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day from home)Varied role combining operational payroll with strategic project workSupportive and cooperative leadership team
