We are seeking a caring, patient and reliable Personal Care Worker to live onsite and provide in-home support and companionship for an elderly person living with dementia.
The role is focused on helping maintain a safe, comfortable and independent home environment, while providing respectful and compassionate day-to-day assistance.Key responsibilitiesProviding companionship, reassurance and dementia-appropriate supportAssisting with personal care, dressing and daily routines as requiredPreparing meals and assisting with household activitiesMedication prompting and supporting established care routinesAccompanying the client to appointments,



shopping and occasional outingsMonitoring general wellbeing and communicating any concerns to the familyMaintaining a protected and tidy home environmentProviding assistance overnight when reasonably requiredAbout youWarm, trustworthy, calm and genuinely enjoys supporting older peoplePrevious experience in aged care or dementia care is strongly preferredRelevant aged-care qualifications, First Aid/CPR, police check and references are highly regardedLive onsite with private accommodation provided as part of the arrangementBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
