You'll be responsible for ensuring features, epics and user stories are clearly defined, technically sound and ready for development.This is a hands-on role where you'll analyse APIs, system behaviour, data flows and integration points to ensure delivery teams have everything they need to build, test and support high-quality solutions.What You'll Be DoingTranslate business needs into clear, actionable and delivery-ready requirementsShape features and epics into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteriaAnalyse system interactions, data flows, business rules and integration requirementsReview API specifications, payloads, request and response patterns,



and technical constraintsCollaborate with engineers and architects to understand solution impacts and dependenciesIdentify gaps, risks and downstream impacts across systems and processesSupport backlog refinement, estimation and prioritisation activitiesProduce high-quality documentation that enables efficient development, testing and support outcomesWhat You'll BringWe're looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex technology environments and enjoys working deeply within technical solutions.You'll ideally bring:Extensive Business Analysis experience within technology delivery environmentsStrong experience defining system, integration, API and data requirementsThe ability to navigate ambiguity and turn complex problems into clear delivery outcomesA proactive approach to challenging assumptions and uncovering hidden requirementsExcellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skillsStrong documentation skills using tools such as Jira, Confluence and related delivery platformsConfidence working with technical teams to understand APIs, payloads, workflows, logging and exception handlingHighly Regarded ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following areas will be highly advantageous:Retail technology, point-of-sale (POS) platforms or transaction processing environmentsCustomer-facing digital products and servicesAWS and cloud-based architecturesEnterprise integration and middleware platformsSalesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, TIBCO, Kong or similar technologiesAPI-led and microservices-based environmentsWhy Join Australia Post?
