Teacher - Electrical Supply Industry (Underground/Cable Jointer)Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employmentSalary package: $175,238 to $180,000, inclusive of 12% superannuationDrummond Street Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transportFlexibility under our teaching agreementAbout the role:We're looking for experienced Cable Jointers and Underground Distribution professionals who want to share their expertise and help train the next generation of ESI workers.You'll teach apprentices and industry personnel across:Underground power distribution networksLV and HV cable jointing and terminationsCable installation, testing and commissioningFault finding and network restorationSafe work practices and network proceduresWhat you'll need:Teaching qualification — Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) / TAE***** / TAE*****Current industry licences/ticketsSignificant experience in the Electrical Supply IndustryExperience as a Linesperson / High Voltage Operator / Live Line WorkerWWCC and Police Check: Victorian 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.Secure, ongoing employment with a respected and established teamSupportive and collaborative work environmentHelp deliver training that supports Australia's energy infrastructureFlexible working arrangements that support work-life balance:Under our Teaching Agreement, you'll enjoy hands-on delivery with apprentices and industry on campus, together with dedicated time for lesson preparation, assessment, student support and maintaining industry currency.
