This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our automotive workshop.
As Workshop Controller, you will be the backbone of our service delivery, overseeing daily operations, managing workflows, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards within agreed timeframes.
You will be responsible for coordinating between technicians, customers, and management to deliver exceptional service whilst maintaining efficiency and profitability.Key responsibilitiesManage daily workshop operations, including job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordinationOversee technical staff and ensure all work is completed to quality standards and within agreed timelinesProcess customer work orders, maintain accurate records, and manage job tracking systemsLiaise between customers, management,



and workshop technicians to ensure clear communication and expectationsMonitor stock levels of parts and materials, coordinate orders, and manage inventory efficientlyEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a protected, organised workshop environmentPrepare accurate invoicing and work documentation for completed jobsHandle customer inquiries, provide quotes for work, and manage customer relations professionallyPerform quality inspections on completed work to ensure standards are met before customer deliveryContribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes and proceduresWhat we're looking forMust have - Demonstrated ability to manage people, motivate teams, and maintain a positive workplace cultureProven experience working in an automotive workshop environment, with supervisory or controller experience preferredStrong knowledge of automotive repair procedures, terminology, and workshop operationsExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasksProficiency with workshop management software and computer systemsOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal,
