This is a newly created, hands-on role.
You will work directly with the Dealer Principal and department managers to find practical opportunities, turn them into well-tested improvements, and make daily operations more visible, consistent and less manual.
You will help bring practical AI, data and smarter systems into a real business across sales, service, parts and administration.Key responsibilitiesMap current processes across sales, service, parts and administration to identify bottlenecks, duplicated work, data gaps and automation opportunitiesWork with data from our Dealer Management System (DMS), CRM, service and parts systems to improve reporting quality and consistencyBuild useful management dashboards, recurring reports and straightforward data toolsResearch, test and help implement practical AI and workflow-automation toolsSupport low-risk, approved improvements such as internal exception alerts, report preparation, data reconciliation and lead follow-up taskingAssist with approved integrations or data exchanges between systems,



while working within vendor capabilities and access controlsDocument processes and explain findings clearly to non-technical managers and staffHelp develop a practical longer-term roadmap for AI, data and process improvement across both locationsAbout youCurrently studying, or recently graduated, in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, IT or a related fieldStrong Excel skills and practical experience cleaning or analysing data; Power Query and PivotTables are highly regardedExperience with Power BI or a similar reporting/dashboard toolWorking knowledge of SQL, Python, or bothPractical use of ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or a comparable generative-AI tool for data, process or business workStrong analytical thinking and an ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical peopleOrganised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently on defined projectsSound judgement: you test results, check data quality and seek approval before making changes that affect customers or business systemsAbout usWe are an Isuzu truck dealership with two locations in the Wollongong region.
