Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead health, safety, environment and quality initiatives across the site, ensuring our policies, practices and procedures meet legislative requirements and support best practice.This role is ideal for an experienced HSEQ professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys combining strategic direction with practical, on-site involvement.
You will develop and execute the site's HSEQ strategy, drive safety and quality audits, and work closely with the operations team to improve systems, product quality and workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the site's HSEQ strategy, policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements and best practiceProvide leadership and guidance to the operations team on quality assurance, work health and safety, and environmental complianceConduct end-to-end quality audits and safety audits, identifying improvements and driving corrective actionsEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and quality management systemsDefine and monitor key quality metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality testing objectives,



requirements and timelinesConduct regular risk assessments and hazard inspections, determine corrective actions and monitor their completionDevelop and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for employees, contractors and site visitorsLead site WHS and environmental meetings to support consultation, awareness and safe work practicesManage the Return-to-Work Program and support employees returning to the workplaceRepresent PROK in community and industry safety groups and programsContinuously assess and improve quality assurance processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and product qualityRequired Qualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Work Health and SafetyQuality Assurance certifications and experience conducting end-to-end quality auditsA minimum of five years' experience in an HSEQ positionExposure to manufacturing processes and environmentsReturn-to-Work certification with practical experience managing employees' return to workSkills & AttributesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approachStrong knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation and regulationsStrong attention to detail, critical thinking and the ability to strategically evaluate and solve complex problemsAn understanding of organisational development and the ability to support continuous improvementPersistence, adaptability and flexibility, with a working approach aligned with PROK's valuesProficient in Microsoft Office and general systemsWhy Join PROK?
