About the role

As our receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a positive and memorable experience at every visit. You'll work diverse shifts including early starts (7:00am) and late closes (7:00pm/7:30pm), different shifts shared across our reception team.

About you
Essential experience using Best Practice software
Proven experience as a medical receptionist in a busy general practice
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail




Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A genuine, understanding and supportive approach to patient care
Ability to remain calm and professional in a quick-paced environment
Flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional Saturdays
Available to work across rotating roster and to fill roster gaps

Key responsibilities
Greeting patients warmly and managing appointments
Patient registration and administration
Managing phone enquiries and correspondence
Processing billing (private/mixed billing practice)
Coordinating with clinical staff and maintaining smooth practice operations
General reception and administrative duties
