Carinya Home for the Aged is a not-for-profit aged-care provider in Atherton, Queensland, dedicated to delivering person-centred care in a supportive setting. Our skilled team shares a commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life and lifestyle options.

Location The Atherton Tablelands located approximately one (1) hour from Cairns, in Far North Queensland. Local attractions include; hiking, walking, biking, road trips, local markets, family fun, many food / drink options and local services.

About You

You will be a Registered Nurse with clinical assessment and person-centred care skills. We welcome experienced aged-care nurses as well as newly registered nurses: our Transition to Practice Program supports your development in the aged-care setting.





You will be focused on making a positive difference by fostering a friendly, resident focused culture and being a part of the Carinya Community.

Mandatory Requirements
APHRA Registration – Current and relevant qualifications
A current Federal Police Check or ability to obtain prior to employment
COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster + Influenza Vaccination

Remuneration and Perks $50.25 to $56.94 per hour plus shift penalties and superannuation.
