GMF is seeking a Project Site Civil Engineer to ensure that the construction programme is carried out within budget and time constraints and in accordance with contract requirements and quality assurance guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the project program in respect to earthworks, civil works, and drainage services
Contribute towards quality assurance and inspection
Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients.
Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation.
Complete reporting requirements for QA, operating and survey needs of the site.




Contribute towards progress reporting.
Understand SOW and follow up on Variations, changes, etc.

Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential.
Experience in Subdivisional works and both Bulk Earthworks and Undergrounds.
Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients.
Strong level of computer skills
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work setting.
Valid Drivers License.
Strong communication skills with site personnel, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
