Hinterland Aviation is a leading regional airline in North Queensland, with our Head Office & Heavy Maintenance division in Cairns with a growing fleet of 15 turbine powered aircraft.

Due to sustained and continual growth, an exciting prospect exists for a highly motivated and organised Technical Records/Maintenance Planning for our Part 42 to join our growing team, in a Permanent full time roll, reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor and Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM).

Core functions of this role include:
Maintenance planning & Forecasting
Creating work packs
Documenting Component Changes
Assessing technical data for applicability
Preparation of monthly reports for the financial department
Data entry for aircraft daily hours/cycles.
Maintaining and monitoring aircraft logbooks.

Robust administration skills – highly organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail.
Critical self-reflection & friendly personality
Ability to work independently, display initiative and work productively as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication.




Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
An ability to think on your feet and be a creative problem solver.
Willing to learn new processes and technologies.

The ideal candidate will need to have:
Experience using a maintenance management system.
Aviation knowledge favourable.
