About the Role

Join our client as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Consultant and play a pivotal role in creating a safe, thriving environment for staff, students, and visitors across multiple campuses. This is your chance to influence safety culture in a energetic organisation that’s shaping the future of vocational education.

Primarily based in Bendigo, you’ll be responsible for managing health safety and wellbeing across 5 sites work across five sites. You’ll also attend monthly team meetings in Melbourne, where you'll collaborate with a passionate and growing team.

Key Responsibilities




Implement and maintain systems, processes, and data to enable a safe working and learning environment.
Provide expert advice on health, safety, and well-being matters.
Conduct risk assessments, investigations, and audits.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs.
Partner with stakeholders to manage hazards, workers’ compensation, and wellbeing initiatives.
Travel to Melbourne as required to support projects, training, and stakeholder engagement.

About You
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and ISO standards.
Skilled in risk management, incident investigation (ICAM), and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong ability to collaborate, build positive relationships, and contribute effectively to team goals.
Must have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children or Police Check.
