This isn't a technical IT change role.
It's a people-focused change role in a technology environment.A change, communications and engagement strategy is already taking shape.
Your role will be to bring it to life, turning plans into practical communications, engagement and capability-building activities across the organisation.You'll collaborate with team members, executives and stakeholders to ensure program delivery is scaffolded by timely communications and engagement, identifying opportunities and delivering activitiesto help our people successfully navigate and adopt change.In this role, you will:Deliver change, communications and engagement activities aligned with the broader strategyCreate and communicate clear, engaging content across a range of communication channelsManage channels to ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right timeWork with stakeholders to understand change impacts, adoption barriers and capability needsCoordinate training, demonstrations, information sessions and engagement activitiesOnboard and manage vendors to deliver to time, budget and standardTranslate complex or technical information into easy, relevant and accessible communicationsGather feedback and insights to continuously improve the change and engagement approachMonitor the effectiveness of change,



communications and capability-building activities.About YouThis is an opportunity to bring a newly established change and communications strategy to life, connecting change with the people who need to understand, adopt and benefit from it.You'll bring strong experience in organisational change, communications and stakeholder engagement, with the confidence to turn strategy into practical, high-quality delivery.You're likely to be someone who:Has experience delivering change, communications and engagement initiatives in a complex environmentIs a strong writer and communicator who can make complex information clear, relevant and engaging, across different channels and mediaKnows how to tailor communications and engagement approaches for different audiencesCan translate strategy into coordinated communications, engagement and capability-building activitiesBuilds strong relationships and confidently engages and influences stakeholders at all levelsUnderstands the people side of change, including adoption, readiness and potential barriersCan manage competing priorities while keeping sight of the bigger picture.Experience supporting technology, digital, system or process change will be highly regarded.We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.Our goal is to build a workforce that not only represents but also understands and serves the diverse communities of New South Wales.
