Prosperity Painting is seeking an experienced Finance and Admin Coordinator to take ownership of the financial and administrative engine of the business.
Reporting directly to and working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure accurate numbers, timely invoices, correct payroll processing, and current compliance.
This is a hands-on role where you will see the impact of your work every week.Key responsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices in Xero, allocate costs to jobs and run supplier paymentsPrepare customer invoices and progress claims in Prime and export to XeroManage the debtors ledger, statements and follow up of overdue accountsProcess payroll including leave, superannuation, PAYG withholding and STP reportingComplete bank, credit card and supplier reconciliationsReconcile job costing between Prime and XeroSupport month end close and prepare P&L;, cash flow and job profitability reportsPrepare BAS information and work with BAS agent and external accountantManage contracts, onboarding and inductions for employees and subcontractorsMaintain licence,



insurance and compliance registers and chase expiring documentsAdminister WorkCover Queensland and QLeaveManage vehicle, Motorpass and Linkt administrationManage recruitment and SEEK administrationProvide general administrative support for the wider teamAbout youAt least 3 years in a bookkeeping, accounts or finance admin roleSolid understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, GST and STPConstruction or trades industry experience highly regardedFamiliarity with WorkCover Queensland and QLeave a plusHighly organised and accurate, comfortable managing competing prioritiesConfident communicator who can have firm but skilled conversations about overdue paymentsQuick to learn new systems (Prime training provided)About usProsperity Painting is a South East Queensland painting, coatings and asset protection business based in Brendale.
