If you've got solid development engineering experience assessing DAs and Construction Certificates, this is a great chance to put it to work with one of Sydney's biggest councils.What you'll be doingAssessing the engineering aspects of Development Applications and Construction CertificatesReviewing civil design for urban development, covering roads, drainage and trafficApplying flood management and water quality principles to land developmentOverseeing erosion and sediment control and traffic management around construction sitesApplying the EP&A; Act, engineering standards, the DCP and Council policiesWhat you'll needExperience in the engineering aspects of land development, including civil design and construction of roads,



drainage and trafficDevelopment control experience assessing Development Applications and Construction CertificatesKnowledge and application of the EP&A; Act **** and related legislationExperience managing erosion and sediment control and traffic management around construction sitesKnowledge of civil engineering software, including hydrology and hydraulics programsExperience applying flood management and water quality principlesGood negotiation, problem-solving and communication skillsLand subdivision or Subdivision Works Certificate assessment experience, postgraduate qualifications and eligibility for corporate membership of Engineers Australia would all be a bonus.What's on offer: up to $***** per hour + super, a temporary contract until the end of January **** with extension likely, and outstanding development engineering experience in one of Sydney's biggest councils.
