This is a full time position, though our client would be open to hiring a candidate who would like to work 4 days per week.Reporting to the General Manager of Finance Operations, you will lead and develop a team of 5, with scope to shape the function and take ownership of its performance.
You will bring an accounting perspective to financial controls, reporting, and commercial agreements, while strengthening systems and processes to give the team clearer direction and improve visibility over financial outcomes.You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Merchandise, Procurement and Supply Chain to resolve commercial issues, improve rebate recovery and ensure accurate reporting.The ChallengeReporting to the General Manager of Finance Operations, some of your key responsibilities will include:Managing the end-to-end supplier rebate process, including accrual setup, tracking, forecasting, reconciliation and collectionValidating supplier rebate calculations against purchasing data and performance metricsPartnering with Commercial Finance, Merchandise, Procurement, Supply Chain and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and disputesLeading the wider team while improving rebate management systems, controls, reporting and automation across the functionReviewing and maintaining supplier contracts,
