About the role

We're seeking an experienced production cook for our kitchen in Brookvale. You'll be cooking in batches to a set schedule, so this is a role for someone who enjoys the rhythm of high-volume cooking and takes satisfaction in getting consistent, great-tasting food out the door. We're keen to hear from cooks with a background in food production, such as meal production, events and banqueting, nursing home kitchens, hospital or school catering.

If you've worked in a high-volume kitchen and you're organised, reliable and valuable at what you do, you'll fit right in.

Key responsibilities
Cooking meal batches according to the daily cooking schedule
Preparing, portioning and serving meals to specification
Following our HACCP plan and food safety procedures at all times
Keeping the kitchen and your work area clean, protected and well organised
Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets
Completing other kitchen tasks as directed

About you
Recognised culinary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)




Production cook experience in a high-volume environment
Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP
Effective time management and the ability to work to a schedule
A genuine passion for food
A proactive, can-do approach
Reliable and punctual, with a robust work ethic
A great team player
Right to work in Australia
