This position will suit a detail-oriented AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their workload, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.You will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function and play a key role within a collaborative finance team.
This is a busy, high-volume position requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.You will be responsible for ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting the wider finance team and maintaining strong supplier relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end accounts payable processing across a high-volume environmentProcessing and coding approximately 100 invoices per dayManaging supplier invoices,



reconciliations and payment runsAccurate allocation of costs across multiple projects and job numbersResolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries in a timely mannerMaintaining supplier records and ensuring data accuracyAssisting with month-end processes and reporting requirementsBuilding strong relationships with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholdersSupporting continuous improvement of AP processes and proceduresAbout You3+ years previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable Officer or Accounts Officer positionExperience working within construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing or another project-based environment will be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environmentExperience using project-based ERP systems will be highly advantageousWhat's on OfferInner eastern suburbs location, close to public transportFree onsite parkingPermanent, Full-time opportunity$70,000 - $80,000 + super depending on experienceFlexible working from home arrangementsSupportive and collaborative finance team environmentDirect exposure to senior finance leadership and strong mentoringExcellent opportunity for growth opportunities and development
