Fitness Equipment Installer / Delivery Technician

Orbit Fitness has been a trusted name in the Australian fitness industry for over 40 years. We specialise in the supply, installation, and servicing of premium fitness equipment for both commercial and residential clients. Based in Gnangara, this role is ideally suited to someone living north of the river.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Permanent Australian residency
A high level of physical fitness and strength, as some equipment is heavy (trolleys and lifting aids are provided to ensure safe work practices)
A motivated, self-driven attitude with solid problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude or a willingness to learn technical skills
Confidence driving a 4-tonne delivery truck
Your own basic hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, socket set, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include:
Checking daily delivery schedules and invoices




Delivering and assembling fitness equipment at customer locations
Demonstrating basic operation and safety procedures to customers
Removing old equipment and disposing of packaging when required
Completing delivery documentation and electronic reports
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Cleaning, restocking, and carrying out safety checks on vehicles
Assisting with warehouse operations, including unloading containers and storing stock

Skills & Requirements
Current Australian driver's licence held for a minimum of two years
Minimum Automatic C Class licence
Ability to obtain and provide a current Police Clearance before commencing employment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Mechanically minded with the ability to quickly learn installation procedures
Physically fit and well presented, with the ability to safely perform manual handling tasks
Competent using a PDA or computer for electronic reporting
