About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a short-term contract, based in Melbourne’s Inner Eastern suburbs.

This role will suit a hands-on Business Analyst with around 5 years of experience who is comfortable working across both project-related activities and business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, support continuous improvement and help ensure day-to-day business needs are met.

The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
Support project delivery activities as well as ongoing BAU requirements.
Review existing business processes and identify prospects for improvement.
Prepare business requirements documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
Work collaboratively with business users, project teams and technical stakeholders.
Assist with testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution.




Investigate business issues, assess impacts and help develop practical solutions.
Support process enhancements, operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are clearly understood and documented.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Approximately 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
Experience supporting both project delivery and BAU activities.
Robust requirements-gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
The ability to analyse business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Solid problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
A flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
