AFGRI Equipment is one of Western Australia's largest John Deere dealer groups, supplying industry-leading equipment, parts and service across the agricultural, construction and forestry industries.

Our Construction & Forestry division is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Auto Electrician to join the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults on heavy diesel machinery.
Test and repair wiring harnesses, starting and charging systems, batteries and lighting.
Troubleshoot sensors, electronic control modules and CAN bus communication systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Use diagnostic software and electrical test equipment to identify faults.
Install and maintain electrical accessories and components.
Complete accurate repair records and maintain secure working practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE




Recognised Automotive Electrical trade qualification (Dual trade in both electrical and mechanics would be advantageous)
Experience working on construction, earthmoving or heavy diesel equipment.
Robust electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting wiring diagrams.
Current driver’s licence.
