We are seeking a passionate and experienced Female disability support worker to join our team at JC Care in Westmead NSW.
As a casual Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and support to our lovely participants, at a 1:1 support ratio.
The role will involve mostly assistance with domestic assistance and community participation/ transport.two, 4 hour shifts per week, after 11 am.
(any weekday)What you'll be doingAssisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksAccompanying and supporting participants to access community services, social and recreational activitiesDeveloping and implementing individualised support plans to meet each participant's unique needs and goalsMaintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of careCollaborating with the broader care team to coordinate seamless service deliveryWhat we're looking forA Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of disabilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with participantsA compassionate,
