Position description An exciting chance has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-known, award-winning construction organisation based in Westmead. You will be part of a supportive, close-knit finance team where every team member is truly valued for their individual contribution.

Working within an accounts payable team, your responsibilities include:
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies
Prepare and process weekly payment runs
Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepancies
Create and maintain supplier records and banking details
Respond to supplier queries via phone and email
Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding invoice approvals and payment matters
Assist with month-end close activities and reporting




Provide ad hoc support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Accounts Payable function

The successful candidate with have:
3 years experience in an end to end Accounts Payable Role
Proficiency with XERO (not essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running
Strong communication skills
