We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager for our Perth CBD based private wealth management firm. The role is a 45 hour per fortnight position. The office hours can be flexible to suit and be spread across the days of Tuesday through to Friday.

The successful applicant will have 5 or more years of experience in a similar role in a professional services firm, can demonstrate a level of high attention to detail and have prior experience with Xero.

We are looking for an individual who can adapt to changing priorities and maintain a qualified and versatile attitude.

To be successful in the role you will possess:
excellent attention to detail
advanced knowledge of Xero
experienced with IAS and BAS
intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
exposure to the commercial property and strata tenancy accounts
the ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks and deadlines
experience bookkeeping for multiple entities
robust verbal and written communication skills
a methodical and dedicated work ethic
a confident decision-maker




ability to use initiative
a qualification in a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting

Your duties will consist of:
managing financial accounts, including entry of transactions into Xero.
reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
accounts preparation to balance sheet
provision of BAS and IAS services as required
reviewing transactions and analysing expenses, ensuring tax deductions are applied
maintaining investment property income and expenses
provision of detailed information to an external accountant (including year-end workpapers)
