We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team in Warners Bay, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse (EEN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to make a meaningful impact in a general medical and surgical nursing workplace. You will work closely with medical practitioners and the broader clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care in a primary healthcare setting. This position offers the chance to develop your nursing practice whilst supporting patients across a range of medical and surgical conditions.

Key responsibilities
Providing direct patient care and clinical support under medical supervision within the primary healthcare setting.
Conducting patient assessments and vital sign monitoring.
Assisting with clinical procedures and wound care management.
Administering medications and injections as per clinical protocols and legislative requirements.
Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives.
Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards.




Collaborating effectively with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
Managing general administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations.

What we're looking for
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EEN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrated experience in general medical or surgical nursing practice
Solid clinical knowledge and practical skills in patient assessment and care delivery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise patient care needs
Current understanding of infection control, health and safety, and privacy legislation
Qualified approach to patient confidentiality and duty of care
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Desirable: Experience in primary healthcare or general practice nursing settings
