We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our Sydenham Centre.BenefitsSupportive and collaborative team environmentChildcare discount payment (Inspira Kids encourages employees to enrol their children at our Centre)Opportunities for professional development and career progressionKey ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for infantsPlan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate educational programs in line with the EYLF, NQS and Inspira Kids curriculumSupport and guide educators in planning, documenting and assessing children's learning and developmentPromote children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development through responsive and play-based learning experiencesBuild positive and respectful relationships with children,



families and team membersMaintain a strong focus on children's health, safety, wellbeing and individual needsSupport the Centre Manager in implementing the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and driving continuous improvementEnsure compliance with relevant National Quality Framework (NQF) requirements, regulations, policies and child safety standardsMaintain accurate documentation and records, including observations, learning stories and developmental assessmentsAbout YouPrevious experience as a Nursery Room Leader, Lead Educator or in a similar leadership role within an early childhood settingHold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and CareHold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificatesHold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and valid National Police CheckStrong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, NQF and relevant early childhood regulations and requirementsDemonstrated leadership, communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to support and guide educatorsExperience in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate programs for infantsA strong understanding of infant care routines, including feeding, sleep, hygiene, settling and individual developmental needsPassionate about supporting children's learning, development, wellbeing and inclusionAbility to build warm, trusting and respectful relationships with children, families and colleaguesCommitted to maintaining a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for all childrenIf you are passionate about early childhood education and would love to lead a nursery team in a supportive and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you!
