About HMRHMR is a national contractor delivering underground and surface drilling, mining, and raiseboring services to clients across Australia.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance Team, supporting a national fleet of mobile drilling equipment across multiple mining operations.This is a hands‐on role offering genuine variety, travel opportunities, and exposure to diverse site operations.
Working on a Adaptable FIFO roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems across a range of mobile drilling equipment.If you are a motivated and adaptable Auto Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliability, we want to hear from you.Key DetailsFlexible roster options availableFIFO from all major Australian citiesAccommodation and meals providedPermanent full-time positionResponsibilitiesMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on a fleet of Epiroc Smart6 mobile drill rigs.Carry out scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance on drilling equipment.Diagnose and repair faults relating to electrical, electronic, and control systems.Install, maintain, and repair lighting, communications, monitoring,



and safety systems.Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.Work closely with Maintenance and Operations teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company, site, and statutory requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsTrade Qualified Auto Electrician.Current Australian manual Driver's Licence.Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue (or willingness to obtain).
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months).
