We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Receptionist to join the team at Platinum Physiotherapy on a part-time basis.
This is a key front-line position located in our West Gosford clinic, where you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception services.
As the initial point of contact, you will play a vital role in our patient experience and contribute significantly to the efficiency of our allied health practice.What you'll be doingGreeting patients in a professional and friendly manner and ensuring they feel welcomed upon arrivalAnswering and directing phone enquiries to appropriate staff membersProcessing patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient recordsCollecting patient payments and processing invoices in accordance with clinic proceduresCoordinating insurance claims and managing patient billing queriesMaintaining a clean and organised reception areaAssisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondenceSupporting the clinical team with patient flow and room preparation as requiredProviding information to patients regarding treatment options, fees, and clinic policiesWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a receptionist in a medical, physiotherapy, or allied health environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and courteous mannerStrong organisational and time management abilitiesProficiency in using reception software, appointment booking systems,
