and a team that's realistic about workloadCorporate health and wellbeing initiativesWhat you'll doYour responsibilities will include:Managing your own portfolio of clients as their trusted advisorBuilding and maintaining solid relationships with business owners and key stakeholdersPreparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance workMoving into advisory work: business planning, structuring and growth conversationsWorking directly with Partners on complex client matters and strategyIdentifying opportunities to add value beyond complianceBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, primary producers and rural businessesWhat you'll bringWe're looking for an experienced Senior accountant who is ready to take ownership and lead:5+ years' experience in Business Services, Tax or AdvisoryCA or CPA preferred but not necessaryA degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineStrong technical accounting and taxation knowledgeA track record of managing client relationships and delivering quality outcomesLeadership qualities and confidence to guide and mentor team membersStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesExperience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting softwareCarey Group is an equal opportunity employer.
