Our client's Sydney insurance team acts as coverage and defence counsel across a range of complex lines, including transaction liability and warranty and indemnity insurance.
They are looking for a Solicitor or Associate with 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience who wants broader exposure than a single claim type.

About the role
Coverage and defence work across qualified indemnity, transaction liability, financial lines and statutory liability.
Manage your own matters with senior support




Act as coverage counsel for insurers on complex policies
Act as defence counsel in professional indemnity claims
Draft advices, reports and correspondence
Work with principals on higher-value matters
What you'll bring
2 to 4 years' post-admission experience in the defendant insurance space, ideally in professional indemnity or public liability
The ability to manage your own file load efficiently
Good client relationship skills
A collaborative, problem-solving approach
A current Australian practising certificate
$100K to $130K + super with a performance bonus scheme
