Due to a busy period, they require a Quality Assurance Analyst with good all-rounder experience including Automation scripting join their team.South Melbourne location, hybrid 3 days in officeDaily rates negotiable depending on experience, expecting approx.
$600 to $800 rangeThe QA Analyst is responsible for the quality of the client's future and existing technology products.
This position will involve testing of specialised high-performance Win32 desktop applications, as well as modern web-based applications, back-end microservices and APIs.
This is role requires automation and manual testing skills.ResponsibilitiesRequirements analysis, designing detailed test cases, and detailing testing procedures, from requirement specificationsAbility to perform both manual and automation testing within sprintsAssisting with migration of testing suite to TestComplete, and developing current scripts/frameworks with VB ScriptEnsure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goalsWork with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer/business requirements are metAttends design review and user meetings as requiredDocument test cases, test plans, test results and defects as neededPerforms the executions of the test plan, continually analysing testing efforts for completenessPerforms system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production release through manual and automated techniquesCreate, maintain,



and run automated test scriptsAnalyses failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as requiredParticipate in Agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team and personal performanceBe a collaborative, active and positive member of the Software Development team who operates in alignment with the clients ValuesTo apply for this role, you will need the following:A minimum of 2-3 years automation testing experienceExperience with testing Win32 / Windows based Desktop applicationsExperience with TestComplete and developing automation scriptsGood skills in testing across manual, API, data, etc. and anyexposure to edge technology/IoT is highly regardedAbility to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to end testing and acceptance testingExperience in automation testing of the following Tech stack -Java, AWS, Postgres DB, Azure DevOps is a bonusWell-developed verbal, listening, comprehension and written communication skillsApply:Please submit your confidential resume ASAP.
