BMS Commissioning Engineer - Data CentresHelp Deliver Some of Australia's most critical infrastructureWe are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of major data centre projects across Sydney.Working alongside experienced Lead Commissioning Engineers, you'll play a hands-on role testing, validating and commissioning critical BMS, cooling and power systems before they go live.This role will suit an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working through structured test procedures and delivering high-quality outcomes through attention to detail.What you will do:Deliver BMS commissioning activities across L1-L5 commissioning phasesExecute L4 Functional Testing and L5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST)Complete point-to-point testing of CRAHs, CDUs, FWUs, AHUs and chilled water systemsVerify field instrumentation and BMS interfaces to UPS, generators, switchboards, PDUs, chillers and power metering systemsValidate control sequences, alarms, trends, graphics and failover functionalityTroubleshoot commissioning issues and support defect resolutionComplete commissioning records, test sheets, defect close-out and handover documentationWork closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project deliveryAbout YouWe're looking for someone who combines technical capability with a methodical,



detail-focused approach to commissioning and testing.Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Automation EngineeringExperience with BMS, controls, automation or commissioning activitiesStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilityAbility to follow test procedures and commissioning plans accuratelyStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsExperience interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentationExposure to PLC, Ignition SCADA, BMS or EMS platformsStrong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholdersWillingness to work across Sydney project sitesHighly RegardedData centre or critical infrastructure experienceSchneider, Siemens, Honeywell or similar BMS platformsExperience with HVAC, chilled water or critical cooling systemsExposure to L4/L5 commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)Why Join Crossmuller?
