With a store network that includes Myer, Just Jeans, Dotti, Portmans, Jacqui E, Jay Jays, sass and bide, Marcs and David Lawrence, at Myer Group you'll be part of a diverse and energetic team that's shaping the future of retail across stores, online and beyondThe People and Safety Team is seeking a Senior Claims & Injury Management Advisor NSW ACT to effectively manage NSW workers compensation claims under our self-insurance program ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Flexible Hybrid/remote working arrangements from our Roselands office12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leaveAbout the role:Work with the stakeholders to implement effective strategies to improve return to work outcomes, reduce hours lost and mitigate claims costs.Ensure claims are managed in accordance with NSW legislation, the terms of Myer's self-insurance licence and Myer's Standard Operating Procedures.Manage the end-to-end operation of workers compensation claims in accordance with legislation, regulations and guidelinesEstablish and maintain proactive communication with injured team members, their treating practitioners and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery and early, sustainable return to work.Actively monitor and manage return to work progress to ensure issues are identified early and timely action is taken.Provide coaching and advice to site management to drive the development of capability in managing return to work processes.Provide coaching and mentoring to other Risk & Safety NSW team members in the development of case strategies and application of legislation,
