This six-month internship offers hands‐on experience in recruitment, market research, market entry and grant strategy, working with international clients.Offer and profile descriptionSpearsage is looking for a motivated intern who is keen to gain hands‐on experience working across multiple projects and business lines in an international environment.The opportunityAs a Business Services Intern, you will support the Spearsage team in delivering projects for international clients entering, developing or strengthening their presence in the Australian market.This is a wide-ranging role suited to someone who is curious, organised and comfortable working across different subjects.
Depending on current client projects, your work may cover recruitment assignments, market research, business‐development initiatives and grant‐related projects.Key responsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:Supporting recruitment assignments, including candidate research, initial screening and coordinationResearching companies, industries,



competitors and market opportunitiesContributing to market‐entry assessments and recommendations for international clientsIdentifying relevant government grants, incentives and support programsAssisting with grant application strategies and the preparation of supporting materialsPreparing client presentations, reports, summaries and internal documentsSupporting lead generation and business‐development activitiesMaintaining project information, contact records and internal databasesCoordinating with clients, candidates and external stakeholdersProviding general support across Spearsage's business‐service activitiesThe scope of the internship may evolve according to client needs and the intern's interests and capabilities.Candidate profileWe are looking for someone who:Is currently studying business, international business, management, marketing, human resources, economics, law, public policy or a related disciplineHas a strong interest in international business and the Australian marketDemonstrates excellent research, analytical and organisational skillsCan communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken EnglishIs proactive,



adaptable and comfortable managing varied assignmentsPays close attention to detail and can work with a good level of autonomyIs confident using standard office and online research toolsFrench‐language skills and an understanding of French or European business culture would be highly regarded.Internship arrangementsPreferred duration: Six monthsStart date: To be agreedLocation and working arrangements:At our office on lvl******** Bourke Street, Melbourne CBDHours:9am to 5pmCompensation:$500 per monthWe are primarily seeking a student whose French university or school can enter into a formal six‐month internship agreement ("convention de stage") with Spearsage.Candidates holding a Working Holiday Visa may also be considered, provided they have appropriate Australian work rights and remain legally eligible for the proposed role and duration.
