Working alongside a dedicated and supportive pharmacy team, you'll receive and store deliveries, pick and distribute stock to wards and external sites, operate the pharmacy robot and assist with fluid replenishment.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a hospital pharmacy environment, with ongoing training and support provided.
This position works 7 days per fortnight, from 7:30am to 2:30pm, with additional hours available from time to time to support leave coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, unpack and safely store pharmaceutical and fluid deliveries, including undertaking frequent heavy lifting, manual handling and maintaining cold chain requirementsOperate the pharmacy robot to input and pick stockAccurately and efficiently pick and pack orders for wards and external sitesComplete fluid imprest checks and replenish stock as requiredMonitor stock levels, expiry dates and discrepancies, escalating issues to the Purchasing teamMaintain a clean, organised and safe pharmacy store environmentSupport weekend ward fluid replenishment and other store activities as requiredWhat we're looking forExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,
