Rod's Bakery is seeking skilled and passionate Bakers to join our team on a full time basis at our Lara, Victoria location.
As a Baker, you will be at the heart of our operation, responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that our customers love and rely on.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring that fresh, delicious products are available to our community every day.
You will work in a fast-paced bakery environment, where precision, creativity, and dedication to craft are valued and celebrated.What you'll be doingPreparing and mixing dough and batter according to established recipes and quality standardsOperating and maintaining bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and other specialised machineryShaping, portioning, and proofing bread and pastry productsMonitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality and appearanceDecorating cakes, pastries, and other baked goods as requiredMaintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards throughout the baking processManaging inventory of ingredients and baking suppliesWorking flexibly with early morning shifts to ensure fresh products are ready for openingCollaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlinesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Baker or in a similar baking role, ideally within a commercial bakery settingStrong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients,
