We are seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters for a FIFO prospect within the WA mining sector.

This is a temp-to-perm position paying $80 per hour , offering long-term career prospects for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance, servicing and repairs of underground crushers, feeders and crushing circuits.
Fault finding, maintenance and repairs of hydraulic systems, pumps and cylinders.
Inspection, servicing and repairs of underground hoisting systems.
Preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and mechanical component change-outs.
Ensuring underground mechanical equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Essential Requirements
Previous underground mining experience – preferred but not essential
Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.




Proven experience with crushers, hydraulics AND hoisting systems – essential.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience maintaining underground fixed plant equipment.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
