We’re partnering with a well-established Queensland-based construction and building services business that delivers high-quality residential, multi-residential and commercial projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team, partner directly with the CFO and support the day-to-day and month-end financial operations of the business.

This role would suit an Accountant who enjoys working in a project-based / construction environment , with exposure across management accounting, job costing and financial reporting.

The Role:
Assist with month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare management reports, P&L; and variance analysis
Job costing and project financial reporting
Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight/support
BAS, GST and compliance support
Assist with budgeting and forecasting




Partner with project and operational teams on financial matters

About You:
Degree qualified in AccountinG
CA/CPA Qualified or working towards
2+ years’ experience in an Accountant role
experience within construction, engineering or project-based environments highly regarded
Robust Excel skills and exposure to accounting systems
Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced workplace
