Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join their team at Fremantle Port, WA. This is an opportunity for a safety-focused qualified to support site operations, promote safe work practices, and help maintain a strong health, safety and environmental culture.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of health, safety and environmental procedures
Conducting workplace inspections and identifying potential hazards
Assisting with risk assessments and the implementation of control measures
Monitoring compliance with site safety requirements and relevant regulations
Supporting incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
Promoting safe work practices and providing guidance to workers on site
Maintaining accurate HSE records and documentation

What you’ll need:
Previous experience in an HSE Officer or similar safety role
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and procedures
Experience conducting inspections,



risk assessments and incident investigations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively with site teams and contractors
A proactive approach to identifying hazards and improving safety
Relevant HSE qualifications or certifications
Full working rights in Australia
