We are seeking an experiencedVB6 Developerto support, enhance and modernise business-critical enterprise applications.
You will work across legacy VB6 systems and contemporary Microsoft technologies, contributing to application maintenance, defect resolution, database development, system integration and technology uplift.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and enhance enterprise applications usingVB6 and .
NET
Support Windows thick-client applications,



includingWinForms UI/UX
Develop and optimiseSQL Server databases, T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
Build and maintainSSIS packagessupporting ETL, data migration and integration
Produce technical specifications, solution designs, support documentation and deployment guides
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers and stakeholders
Support CI/CD and DevOps practices usingAzure DevOps and Git
Essential Criteria
Strong commercial experience developing and supportingVisual Basic 6 applications, which is mandatory
Experience with.NET, C# and Windows Forms
Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Experience supporting enterprise-grade thick-client applications
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and performance-tuning skills
