About the Chance:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of a growing Christchurch operation, backed by a well-established and respected business with a strong reputation in the industry.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch, leading a dedicated team while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and ongoing business growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance people management, customer relationships, workshop and service operations, and commercial performance.
Working closely with both staff and customers, you'll play a key role in driving branch success while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, support, and develop the Christchurch branch team
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Oversee daily service, workshop, and branch operations
Ensure workflow is managed efficiently and customer communication remains on track
Maintain high health and safety standards across the branch
Identify opportunities to grow service, sales, and rental revenue
Monitor branch performance and contribute to profitability targets

About You:
Proven leadership experience in a branch, service, workshop, or similar operational environment
Industry experience within automotive, heavy equipment, materials handling, transport, or a related sector
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Commercially minded with the ability to identify and drive growth opportunities
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Hands-on leader who enjoys supporting their team and staying involved in operations
Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
