NQ Estimating & Civil Services is seeking experiencedConcretersto join our team on acasual basis.
Based in western qld, this role offers flexible work opportunities for skilled tradespeople looking to contribute to quality concrete projects across the region.
As a Concreter, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, finishing and maintaining concrete structures that form the foundation of residential, commercial and civil infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
Preparing concrete surfaces and formwork to ensure correct specifications and safety standards
Mixing, pouring and spreading concrete to the required thickness and consistency
Finishing concrete surfaces using various techniques including trowelling, floating and brooming
Operating concrete equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and measurements to ensure accuracy
Maintaining concrete quality throughout curing and hardening processes
Ensuring work sites remain clean, safe and compliant with health and safety regulations
Collaborating with other tradespeople and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Inspecting finished work for quality and undertaking any necessary remedial work
What we're looking for
Relevant qualifications or certifications in concrete work or equivalent demonstrated experience
Proven experience working as a Concreter in the building trades industry
Strong knowledge of concrete handling, finishing techniques and industry best practices
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
Current and valid driver's licence




Working knowledge of health and safety requirements on construction sites
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility and reliability for casual work arrangements
