Sutherland Hospital & Community Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Aged Care ward on a contract basis, with an immediate start and a duration of up to three months.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a structured inpatient setting, working across a rotating roster that includes weekends and weekdays.
Deliver hands-on nursing care to older adults in an inpatient aged care environment
Full-time contract role with adaptable rostering across the week
Immediate start available, with scope to extend based on performance and service needs
Preferred Requirements
Minimum 12 months of post-graduate experience working in aged care nursing
Ability to work a full rotating roster,



including Monday to Sunday availability
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a residential care setting
Familiarity with aged care documentation, medication management, and infection control protocols
Compassionate approach to patient care with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Current First Aid and CPR certification
