Up to 8 months + two optional 12-month extensions.

We are seeking hands-on Senior and Mid-Level Full Stack Developers to sustain, enhance and modernise an established Angular enterprise application within an Australian Government setting.

Work within a multidisciplinary Agile team delivering application enhancements, integrations, technical remediation and improved engineering practices.

Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain Angular interfaces, backend services and REST APIs.
Investigate application defects, improve performance and remediate technical debt.
Deliver integrations and support reliable application data flows.
Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Apply secure coding practices and remediate software dependency issues.
Maintain technical documentation and transfer knowledge to the ongoing workforce.

Senior Full Stack Developer—SFIA PROG 5
Lead complex development activities and guide technical implementation.




Review code and assess impacts across the application stack.
Mentor developers and strengthen engineering standards.
Resolve complex defects and coordinate technical dependencies.
Remain actively involved in hands-on development.

Full Stack Developer—SFIA PROG 4
Deliver application features and integrations within established architecture.
Investigate defects and implement maintainable, tested fixes.
Contribute to estimation, peer reviews and technical documentation.
Work independently on allocated development activities and escalate risks appropriately.

Essential experience
Strong Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript development.
Backend services, API integration and relational databases.
Automated testing, Git and CI/CD practices.
Enterprise application sustainment and enhancement.
Cooperative Agile delivery and clear technical communication.

Previous Defence experience is highly regarded.

Location: Canberra, ACT—full-time onsite.
Security: Australian citizenship and current NV1 clearance; NV2 holders welcome.
Duration: Initial term up to 8 months, with two optional 12-month extensions.
