BDW is a leading distributor of bathroom, kitchen and plumbing products, servicing customers across Australia. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson / High Reach Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team.
About the Role
Working within a busy distribution environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock, order picking, replenishment, receipting, dispatch activities and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
High reach forklift operation in a fast-moving warehouse setting
Putaway and replenishment of stock within double deep racking systems
RF scanning for stock movements and inventory transactions
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
Loading and unloading vehicles
Receiving inbound goods and dispatching outbound freight
Inventory control and stock accuracy maintenance
Following WHS procedures and maintaining a clean work area
General warehouse duties as required
Essential Requirements
Current LF Forklift Licence
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Proven experience operating high reach forklifts
RF scanning experience
Experience with picking, packing and stock movements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable work ethic and positive team attitude
Highly Regarded / Advantageous
LO Order Picker Licence
Experience working with double deep racking systems
Experience using Pronto ERP
Experience within the bathroom, kitchen, plumbing or building supplies industry
Receiving and/or dispatch experience
Previous experience working within a large distribution warehouse
Knowledge of warehouse inventory management processes
