Role Description This full-time Anatomical Pathologist role is an in office position based in Canberra. The Anatomical Pathologist will review and interpret histopathology and cytology specimens, provide diagnostic reports to our referrers, and participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings.

Qualifications
Specialist qualification in Anatomical Pathology (or equivalent)



and eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated expertise in histopathology and/or cytology reporting, including the ability to manage a broad range of case types.
Strong diagnostic judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
Effective communication skills for clear written reports and collaborative work with clinicians, laboratory staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with laboratory information systems, and adherence to quality assurance and accreditation standards.
Ability to work on-site in a rapid-paced laboratory environment, manage workload effectively, and contribute positively to team culture.
Ongoing engagement in continuing professional development; prior experience in teaching, research, or regional pathology services is an advantage.
