The Dental Group (Sydney Implant Institute) is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our agile team at the Sydney Implant Institute in our Sydney CBD location.

If you’re a Dental Assistant who’s ready for more than check-ups and fillings, this is the role. Sydney Implant Institute is a specialist implant centre on Macquarie Street, part of The Dental Group (Sydney Implant Institute, Dental Lounge and Dental 99). We do implant dentistry every day, from single implants through to full-arch All-on-X (AOX) cases, and we’re looking for a DA who wants to grow with us.

What you’ll learn here that you won’t learn elsewhere
How to assist in All-on-X full-arch procedures, from surgical setup through to same-day teeth
Sterile surgical assisting: theatre setup, sterile field, instrument flow and working alongside the surgeon in real time
The full implant patient journey, from consult and 3D scans through surgery, restorative phases and review
Digital workflows, e.g. CBCT, intraoral scanning

You don’t need surgical experience to apply. If you’re a robust chairside DA and you want to learn, we’ll train you properly.
Chairside and surgical assisting across implant,



surgical and restorative appointments
Setting up and turning over surgical and treatment rooms so every patient gets a calm, ready space
Looking after patients before, during and after surgery, including clear post-op instructions. Implant patients are often nervous and making a big decision, so your care matters
Running infection control and sterilisation to the standard surgery demands
Working closely with the surgeon, treatment coordinators and reception so the day runs smoothly

What you’ll bring
2+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant
Confident with dental terminology, procedures and practice software
Surgical or implant assisting is a bonus, not a must
Calm under pressure and organised enough to stay a step ahead of the surgeon
Warm, skilled communication with patients
Learn from a team that does implant surgery every day, not occasionally
A explicit path to develop as a surgical and implant specialist DA
A modern CBD clinic close to Martin Place and St James stations
Monday to Friday, no weekends
