A Federal Government agency is seeking an experiencedCloud Solutions Architectto provide senior cloud architecture expertise across a portfolio of technology initiatives and support the continued modernisation of a Microsoft Azure environment.
The successfulCloud Solutions Architectwill secure aninitial 12-monthcontractwith the view to be extended for 12 months and receivea rewarding hourly rate.
The Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for but not limited to;
Leading cloud solution architectures from requirements through to implementation
Designing secure, resilient, scalable and supportable solutions using approved Microsoft Azure services
Producing solution designs, patterns, standards and implementation guidance
Presenting solution proposals through architecture and technology governance processes
Providing architecture oversight and technical guidance to delivery teams




The Cloud Solutions Architect will have experience in the following:
Demonstrated experience as an architect designing and delivering a significant cloud or digital transformation initiative
Robust ability to define and validate business requirements and translate them into practical solution designs
Experience leading complex technology implementations and taking accountability for delivery outcomes
Sound understanding of Commonwealth governance, security, assurance and procurement requirements
Experience designing Azure platforms supporting enterprise data, integration, analytics, artificial intelligence or machine learning
