Electrical Superintendent – Solar & BESS
Package: $180-200k base, super, 10% site allowance,
DIDO and FIFO considered

About the Role
An chance exists for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction on a large-scale renewable energy project. You will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and in line with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise electrical construction crews, subcontractors and self-perform teams.
Oversee installation of solar electrical systems, BESS, HV infrastructure, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cabling and earthing.
Coordinate daily work plans, labour, materials and construction schedules.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, project specifications and relevant standards.
Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and manage quality inspections.
Support testing, commissioning,



energisation and project handover.

About You
Previous experience working as an Electrical Superintendent on major construction or renewable energy projects.
Current electrical licence relevant to the role and project jurisdiction.
Demonstrated experience across utility-scale solar, BESS and high-voltage (HV) infrastructure.
Proven experience managing self-perform electrical crews, alongside subcontractors.
Robust understanding of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, safety procedures and commissioning requirements.
Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
